• Log birdhouse kit, with solid wood pieces for the walls, roof and foundation
• Assorted glass tesserae to decorate the base of the house

✓ It takes a few sessions to complete this project, approximately 4 - 6 hours total.
✓ Recommended for ages 9+. Younger kids will need some adult support to assemble the birdhouse.
✓ Though children can do the project independently by simply following the workbook and video, we highly recommend that you join them on this adventure, and have time full of fun and learning together.
✓ Designs shown in the photos are samples. Use your imagination and follow the tips to create your own!
SAFETY INFORMATION
✓ This project contains small parts. Keep the glass, all small parts, glue and paint out of reach of small children and pets.
✓ We have tumbled the glass pieces you’ll find in a kit, which means the edges are less sharp than those of glass that is just cut or broken. However, please make sure you have access to clean water and a first aid kit with bandages when you start working on mosaic.

This project was really fun and the students really looked forward to participating in the art activities. Very well organized and prepared for teachers to just jump in and teach an art lesson with the kids that helps them create something that they might not have had the opportunity to create before.
